Mary Banks

Those of us who are fortunate to share the love of a pet, know they are truly part of the family. Country Crest understands that special connection and has been uniquely designed as a pet friendly community. Being pet friendly is important to many of our residents and is a key part of their decision to choose Country Crest. The companionship and unconditional love that they give, is what makes one of our residents excited to share how special having her pet has been.

When Mary Banks and her husband made the decision to move from their beautiful home on Kelly Ridge, to Country Crest, Mary didn't realize how much it would mean to have Molly, her teacup poodle, be able to live with her. Shortly after her husband passed away, she understood even more how special this little teacup poodle was and the importance of being together. As Mary shared her story, she held Molly tight in her arms, remarking, "I don't know what I would do without Molly, she's my friend." Mary and Molly are inseparable and have learned together their special daily routines, funny tricks and how to share memorable moments together.

As time has passed, Molly has become more than just the companion for Mary; she has become a friend to other residents as well. Mary remembers the first time she visited her mailbox on campus, "Molly is a way to start conversations with others, and she gave me the best introduction to my new wonderful family here at Country Crest." As our residents enjoy the companionship of Mary and Molly, as well as the other pets that are here at Country Crest, we realize that our community wouldn't be the same without the special pets that a are part of our family.
